G2 Software Systems, Inc. (G2) is looking for an experienced Logistics Management Senior Specialist to assist the MIDS JTRS Logistics Director in the development/coordination/management of 12 Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements in support of a DoD program.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze failure trends to include identification, assessment and resolution of deficiencies throughout the systems life cycle and monitoring sustainment health metrics
• Assess reliability of the system and relate this to demand forecasting
• Conduct sparing modeling taking into account reliability, depot performance, demand forecasting, and readiness sparing
• Manage supply chain management to determine requirements to provision, catalog, receive, repair and replenish inventories - this management results in having the right spares in the right quantities, at the right place, at the right time
• Coordinate closely with the sponsors and customers to ensure identification of all ILS requirements and implementation of logistics support plan meet those requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited four-year college or university
• Minimum ten (10) or more years of experience as a Senior Logistician with strong experience with IPS elements.
• US Citizenship and either currently hold or have the ability to obtain Secret Clearance.
• Lean Six Sigma experience, a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
• Must be able to navigate each department at the assigned facility.

Location:

This is a full-time hybrid position. The workforce is required to report physically to the Client office located in San Diego, CA three times a week. Additional days at the office may be required from time to time as required to support the workload or clients request. Travel<10%

Compensation:

The pay range for this position in California is $120,000/year to $170,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract wages, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors. G2 Software Systems also offers a full range of medical, financial (401k and Employee Stock Ownership Program), and other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.
