Job Title: Industrial Pipefitter and Welder

Job Description - $25-$35/hr

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Pipefitter and Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pipefitting, welding, and mechanical systems, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings. This role involves working with various materials, including PVC, HDPE, and stainless steel, and requires a commitment to safety and precision.

Responsibilities

• Perform industrial pipefitting and welding tasks

• Bend stainless steel tubing (up to 3/8" OD)

• Read and interpret prints and drawings

• Utilize hand tools such as wrenches, grinders, and cordless and impact drills

• Work with PVC, HDPE, and stainless steel piping/tubing

• Troubleshoot, rework, and/or repair assembled equipment

• Perform layouts and takeoffs

• Follow all safety procedures

• Perform repetitive tasks as needed

Essential Skills

• 5 years of experience as a pipefitter and welder

• Experience in welding and soldering

• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

• Knowledge of hydrotesting, industrial pipe welding, and safety protocols

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• TIG and MIG welding experience is a plus

• Experience operating equipment such as forklifts, gantry cranes, bandsaws, and chop saws

• Ability to maintain a safe and clean work area

• Ability to work effectively within a team

• Welding and rigging experience is a nice to have

• Basic computer skills

• High school diploma or GED

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Work Environment

You will be working in a shop environment in Spring Valley. The role involves using various hand tools and equipment, and requires adherence to safety protocols. The work may involve repetitive tasks and lifting up to 50 pounds. Maintaining a safe and clean workspace is essential.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00
