Our client, a engineering and technology sector, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be part of the technical support team, ensuring the successful installation and operation of complex control systems. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative spirit which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Field Service Engineer
Location: San Diego, CA
What's the Job?
Analyze and solve engineering problems associated with the installation, start-up, and operation of complex distributed control systems.
Assist in engineering assignments involving technology outside of normal areas of expertise.
Direct efforts of customer personnel engaged in the installation of control systems and equipment.
Provide engineering advisory assistance to customers regarding equipment and related matters.
Collaborate with team members to ensure successful project completion and customer satisfaction.
What's Needed?
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field, or equivalent field engineer experience.
A minimum of 5 years of related experience in the field.
Understanding of networking and experience in computer assembly/troubleshooting.
Experience with DCS/PLC controls, preferably with Ovation Control System.
Background in the water/wastewater treatment or power plant industries.
