Description

We are partnering with a growing organization to find a motivated Entry Level Accounting Clerk. This position is ideal for recent graduates or individuals looking to start their careers in accounting. The Entry Level Accounting Clerk will support the accounting team with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliation tasks, gaining valuable hands-on experience in the field. The position is contract or contract-to-hire, offering a fantastic opportunity for professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including data entry and invoice processing.

• Perform reconciliations of accounts and resolve discrepancies as needed.

• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for audits and reporting.

• Support month-end closing activities by preparing necessary reports and schedules.

• Utilize Excel to analyze data and generate reports as required.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth accounting operations.

  Requirements

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (required).

Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.

Foundational understanding of accounting principles (e.g., debit vs. credit).

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and functions.

Tech-savvy with a willingness to learn new accounting software.

Eager to gain experience and grow within the accounting field.
