Scripps Health Diabetes Educator II - Part Time in San Diego, California
This is a Part-Time (48 hours per pay period, every 2 weeks) position with a Monday-Friday schedule with normal business hours. Position provides outpatient education visits at Scripps Clinic and Coastal sites.

We invite you to join our highly dynamic team as a Diabetes Educator II.
As a Diabetes Educator II, you will provide diabetes-specific clinical, educational, and/or research services in a variety of settings. Settings may include inpatient, outpatient, community, and/or research programs.
Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills: · A minimum of two years providing diabetes education as an RN or RD required.
Required Certification/Registration: * Current BLS from American Heart Association. * Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) required. * Licensed to practice in the State of California as an RN OR Current RD Registration.
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
- For RNs, a bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
