Key Qualifications

  • Experience with Unix based systems

  • Experience with SQL or other database structures

  • 5-10 years experience with test automation and frameworks including scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or Bash, etc.

  • 3-5 years of proven experience leading cross-functional, technical projects and initiatives

  • Excellent ability to triage and debug problems, QA experience or exposure to good testing methodologies preferred

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Description

Responsibilities include: writing and maintaining automated tests of power consumption, system-wide feature validation, as well as post processing and reporting of test results. You will also be responsible for running tests, comparing test results against expectations, and triaging issues. You’ll be continuously working on the next generation of hardware across the entire Apple ecosystem. You'll be running many different tests at a time across many different scenarios and need to keep careful track of the results. You’ll infuse creativity and determination to help us proactively identify new opportunities to improve our workflow though the use of automation, ultimately driving organization wide initiatives to optimize our efficiency and product quality.

Education & Experience

Bachelors or Masters degree in CS/CE or Equivalent Experience

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $136,000 and $207,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
