Key Qualifications

• Strong programming skills with C and/or C++ Multithreading software development in a highly concurrent environment

• Experience with using and developing media libraries especially for mobile platforms

• An ability to work well with tight schedules and rapid development cycles

Description

The Connected Media group and AirPlay Audio team is looking for a software engineer to join our team to work on AirPlay. We are looking for expert developers that have debugged complex and layered software stacks. You will be curious, self-motivated, and thorough when they approach new challenges. As an engineer on our team you will be responsible for crafting and implementing new features in AirPlay across Apple's product lines product lines. You will be able to collaborate effectively on a team, and thrive in a dynamic, highly fluid environment.

Education & Experience

BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent

• At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $95,000 and $177,000 annualized, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
