Robert Half Accounts Receivable Specialist in San Diego, California

Description

We are seeking a part time Accounts Receivable Specialist. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, your role will involve maintaining and managing the financial records of our clients, resolving any queries and issues, and working towards the overall financial efficiency of our operations.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately apply cash received on a daily basis to sales invoices and pre-payments for sales orders.

• Regularly create and process RMA/ Ink Rebate credit memos, ensuring customers are notified via our NetSuite system.

• Handle standalone credit memos as and when requested.

• Stay on top of the AR inbox, providing assistance with AR queries and catering to special requests.

• Liaise with customers regarding AR past due balances, following the completion of the AR Summary Report prepared by the accounting manager.

• Monitor the AP inbox frequently, manage invoice assignments, and assist with AP queries and special requests.

• Prepare the AP aging report in preparation for the scheduled monthly pay-run.

• Enter bill credits as necessary.

• Upload 1099 data to the designated portal.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential for managing financial data accurately.

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required to handle company's financial operations.

• Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is needed for effective client communication and service.

• Familiarity with Epic Software is required for efficient management of financial records.

• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is necessary for streamlining business processes.

• In-depth understanding of Accounting Functions to ensure compliance with financial regulations.

• Expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential for managing outstanding invoices and payments.

• Proficiency in Billing Functions is required to ensure accurate and timely billing.

• Experience in managing Cash Activity is necessary for accurate financial reporting.

• Skills in Cash Handling are required to manage and safeguard the company's cash transactions.
