Description

We are partnering with a well-established behavioral health non-profit organization near Downtown San Diego that is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist. This role is ideal for candidates with a passion for non-profit work and a strong background in accounts payable, particularly those with advanced Excel skills. The position is contract or contract-to-hire, with potential for permanent placement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full-cycle accounts payable process, including invoice processing, coding, and payment preparation.

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate and efficient payments.

• Utilize Excel for data analysis, reporting, and reconciliation purposes.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions.

  Requirements

Previous experience in accounts payable, preferably within a non-profit or healthcare environment.

Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to work with formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.

Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
