Are you a skilled Accountant with experience in property management and proficiency in AppFolio software? Robert Half is currently seeking a talented individual to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis. As a Property Management Accountant with AppFolio experience, you'll play a crucial role in managing financial operations for our property management clients. Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes using AppFolio software for multiple properties within the portfolio.

• Process rent payments, utility bills, and vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.

• Reconcile tenant accounts and address any billing discrepancies promptly to ensure tenant satisfaction.

• Prepare monthly financial statements for individual properties, including income statements and balance sheets.

• Analyze property expenses, including maintenance and repair costs, to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting.

• Collaborate closely with property managers to track leasing activity, tenant payments, and occupancy rates within AppFolio.

• Support year-end audits and tax preparation processes by providing accurate financial data and documentation.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CPA candidate preferred.

• Previous experience in accounting roles within the property management industry, with specific experience using AppFolio, Yardi or similar accounting software.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.

• Strong understanding of property management accounting principles, including CAM reconciliations and lease administration.

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret financial data accurately.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with property managers and tenants.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Commitment to excellence and continuous improvement in property management accounting practices.

Duration and Compensation:

This is a contract-to-hire position through Robert Half, with the opportunity for permanent employment based on performance and business needs. Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
