10746 - Software Engineer III, SAP FICO ABAP, San Diego, CA (On-site, 5-days)

Purpose:

The Sr. Associate developer has proficient knowledge of SAP multiple programming languages along with the ability to take business requirements and develop the total technical design for an entire application to be run in production. The Sr. Developer has the ability to lay out requirements for the project team. Ability to guide and direct work on multiple projects and ensure proper usage as part of the design efforts in building a system to be put into production. Thorough understanding of life cycle development through production implementation and post implementation. The Sr. Developer has the ability to present at the various architecture review board and display strategic view of applications and how they fit into the whole system landscapes.

The system landscape is mostly in the SAP R/3 application of FI, CO, TR, FM, HR, eHR , SD and MM which integrates with various external system components of other module of SAP, Legacy AS/400 systems, BW, EDW, BPEL  (Workflow), Autoway, AD,   Applicant is responsible to provide technical solutions to new or changed business requirements in the financial systems and HR systems.

Essential Functions:

• Design and implement new features in SAP financial and HR system; understand client requirements and functional specifications, design technical specifications, develop program codes, conduct unit testing, and assist functional for integration testing and user test & training

• Monitor, maintain and debug SAP financial and HR system functionalities including interfaces and user entries; create and complete change request, resolve the issue, assist the functional debug issues/errors, upload mass data, code user exits, create SAP reports and queries

• Communication and reporting in HISNA; Meet established SLA, Document proper materials, Report project and maintenance status, Escalate critical system impacts/issues to management

• Perform all other duties as assigned by management

  Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

• SAP ABAP (Required)

• SAP EP, WebDynpro and BSP (Preferred)

• SAP UI5, Fiori (preferred)

• Minimum 8+ years of SAP ABAP programming experience in SAP FICO System mainly implementation or maintenance

• ABAP development /maintenance experiences in other modules of SAP such as HR, BW, EP, SD, MM, and etc

• 2-3 large implementation experiences.

• Experience with EP (iViews, Web Dynpro, and BSP)

• Strong knowledge and application of software development life cycle

• Other skill sets & experience that would be a plus on the project

• Documentation of RICE, technical specifications and system architecture landscape

Salary range - $91,810 to $131,285
