Group Class Instructor - Walmart

San Bruno, California

Part-time, 1-2 classes/week

HealthFitness is looking for a Group Class Instructor to join the fitness team at our Walmart client site located in San Bruno, CA. In this position you will provide fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members participating in the program such as strength training, core, circuit, Yoga, Pilates, etc.

This is a position teaching 1-2 classes per week or working on an as-needed basis.

What you'll need to have

• Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.

• Adult and pediatric CPR/AED and First Aid certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required by first day of employment.

• 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.

• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.

• Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.

What you'll be doing

• Provides group exercise instruction; educates participants on proper techniques to maximize exercise safety and effectiveness.

• Miscellaneous administration and data entry as it relates to group fitness programming initiatives.

• Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills including the ability motivate others.

• Other duties as assigned.

The pay rate for this role is $60-$65/class depending on experience.
