Mechanical Assembler – $23/hr
Our client in San Bernardino, Ca is looking for hardworking, motivated talent to join their team for this great opportunity as a Mechanical Assembler with a schedule of Monday - Friday 5am-1:30pm. This is a temp assignment from Feb 24-April 07. Don’t wait… apply today!
Responsible for performing the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of power supplies, components, instruments, and electro-mechanical assemblies.
Determines and follows methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams.
Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and final systems.
Requires reworking on assemblies and or systems as result of testing and prepares failure reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions.
May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment.
Performing assigned manufacturing tasks to produce high quality products under general supervision.
Performing work order processing to complete products to inventory.
Using manufacturing tools and skills to measure and quantify materials.
Interpreting and responding to quality data.
Carrying out aspects of the assigned production process which may include:
Performing final product QC procedures.
Analyzing data.
Performing final instrument assembly, kitting and other packaging functions.
Assembling electro/optical/mechanical systems that require testing, calibrating, and troubleshooting of both individual components and integrated systems using Standard Operating Procedures.
Collection and completion of all DHR documentation using Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Maintaining training and certifications to ensure compliance.
Other manufacturing duties as needed.
Qualifications:
As a technician, work on assignments that are complex in nature where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations and prepare failure reports.
Ability to read complicated drawings, handbook formulas and test procedures
Used and familiar with a variety of precision testing and measure instruments
Typically an AA degree of technologies or equivalent vocational training is required.
At least three years of work experience involving electro-mechanical build and final test.
