The Industrial Engineer will assist in providing changes to operations, work measurement, methods, materials usage, and training with the goal of improving processes and productivity. This will directly impact throughput and increase cost savings across the distribution center. This position supports the supply chain organization through a variety of projects focused on enhancing productivity, reducing expense, maximizing throughput and ensuring workplace safety through data reporting and analysis.

A Day In The Life:

• Assist in monitoring and tracking changes to operations, work measurement, methods, materials usage, and training with the goal of improving processes and productivity.

• You will support the distribution organization through a variety of established reports and projects focused on enhancing productivity, increasing distribution capacity, reducing expense, maximizing throughput, and ensuring workplace safety through data reporting and analysis. Primary customers are distribution center leadership team.

• Manage and publish operational key metric reporting and summarize opportunities

• Assist in new concepts rollouts to improve the flow and setup in the distribution centers

• Follow current forecast and analysis reporting to aid in determining staffing levels to meet Budget and Productivity goals

• Perform cost justification analysis for project requests

• Work effectively with internal and external resources to ensure collaborative partnerships to meet business requirements

• Assist in training operational partners as needed

You Will Come With:

• 1-3 years of experience

• Ideally a Bachelor’s in industrial engineering, supply chain management, or equivalent experience & Distribution Center Operations

• The ability to manage multiple tasks at once, recognizing interdependencies & prioritizing appropriately

• Effective ability to use information and data to recommend solutions to budget

• Excellent PC skills – Excel, WMS, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

• Effective presentation skills

• Six Sigma experience a plus

• Ability to work collaboratively across various schedules to support the operation

• Occasional travel to nearby distribution centers may be required
