Responsibilities

Position Summary:

If you’re a Manager or Assistant Director with a background in the Operating Room in search of a new and rewarding opportunity, look no further – we currently have a cornerstone position for a Director of Perioperative Services at Community Hospital in San Bernardino.

As our Director, you will be in charge Periop services, consisting of 4 state-of-the-art operating rooms, 2 GI labs, pre-admission testing (PAT), PACU, and SPD. We average 25 cases daily, spanning general surgery, total joint procedures, neurosurgery, and advanced robotics.

You will lead your team and drive the overall quality of care provided by surgical services personnel, advising perioperative medical staff, other department heads, and administrators in matters related to patient care, clinical best practices, and strategies.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (e.g. BSN) or equivalent education and experience and Master's degree in nursing or other-related field (e.g., MSN/MBA/MHA) required.

  • Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience and two (2) years of leadership experience required.

Required Licensure:

  • Registered Nursing License (RN) in CA required.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Pay Range

$68.76 - $99.70 /hour
