Jovian Concepts, Inc is looking to hire a Systems Administrator Level 1 for a great opportunity in the Annapolis Junction area. TS/SCI Clearance with a Poly required. No CCA's will be accepted at this time.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, troubleshooting and maintaining Information Technology (IT) systems.
The System Administrator will:
Configure, install, manage and troubleshoot UNIX and Windows operating systems and GOTS/COTS software
Support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices
Optimizes system operations and resource utilization, and performs system capacity analysis
Understanding of computer networks with ability to identify, troubleshoot, and document network connectivity and performance issues.
Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems
Experience in understanding network diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot dataflow and computer system related issues.
Working knowledge of enterprise dataflow and Nifi is helpful.
Requirements
An active and current TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph is required to be considered. No CCA's will be accepted at this time.
Five (5) years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
CWIP Certification (IAT Level 1) is required. (Security+, etc)
Willing to work nights on a 24/7 shift work team.
Willing to travel for a two week training course, upon start. Additional travel may occur for as needed site visits.
Minimum of 5 years analyzing and correcting data flow issues within systems.
Minimum of 5 years troubleshooting software installations and operations
