Description:

• Performs tasks relevant to virtualization and back-up environment.

• Performs oversight of maturing information security controls & procedures.

• Responds to security events, security notifications and reports and conducts forensic investigations and incident response coordination.

• Maintains and troubleshoot issues with security technologies to support availability targets, effectiveness, and adherence to operational standards.

• Maintain security documentation and contributes to the documentation and education of security standards.

• Delivers server infrastructure modernization capabilities includes OS upgrades, OS patching, & server hardening.

Skills and Education Requirements:

• Strong experience with VMWare environment

• A current level understanding of Cybersecurity tools, techniques, and procedures.

• Ability to communicate technical concepts and issues to a variety of disciplines related to server infrastructure.

• Strong working knowledge of Windows server environment (2008R2, 2012R2, 2016, & 2019).

• Skills in back up technologies, including Veeam

• Excellent verbal, listening and written communication skills.

• Detail oriented, self-starter and good inter-personal skills are important.

• Must be able to effectively facilitate and work with teams at all levels within an organization.

• Achieved Microsoft Windows-related server certifications

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) also a plus.

• ability to be flexible in "AD-HOC" situations. - need to have good communication skills - open to travel including down into Mexico. ability to work without supervision -good initiative - good at problem solving
