The Alaka’ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a potential need for top talent to provide Research Activity Support Services to a DoD Laboratory and Clinical Trauma program out of San Antonio, TX. Qualified candidates will be responsible for a range of duties. Such candidates will provide support services to the United States Army Institute of Surgical Research (USAISR) and the Combat Casualty Care Research, Joint Trauma System, Resource, and Quality Management Directorates. Various positions may also support the Extremity Trauma and Regenerative Medicine Research core competency. This competency requires conducting, coordinating, and assisting in the research of orthopedic injury including associated infection; bone tissue regeneration using stem cell therapy and bioengineered scaffolds; and by evaluating and improving currently available therapies and implementation into the clinic with the goal of returning wounded warriors to full function.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Required Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher dependent on position.
Required Experience: All positions require the personnel to have current/valid certifications/licenses that are appropriate for each position. Most positions will require a minimum of 5 years’ experience in laboratory and clinical trauma research.
REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP/CLEARANCE:
A NACI or greater security clearance may be required.
