Position Description: Vighter is seeking multiple candidates to join the team as a Government contract recruiter. The goal of a recruiter is to attract, screen, select and onboard qualified and suitable personnel to fill our job openings. Recruiters specialize in sourcing and attracting talent from our candidate pool, gaining competitive advantage and fueling the company’s growth through successful placements in a wide variety of career paths at all levels, from entry level to Director level.

Recruiters filter candidates using Paycom applicant tracking system (ATS) software, searching for certain keywords and phrases, and evaluating their resumes and cover letters to make sure they have the right qualifications for a given job.

Recruiters are also typically involved in the interview process, particularly in the early stages. They need to understand the qualifications for the role and ask candidates questions related to education, work history, and job skills.

Healthcare recruiters should also possess certain skills that can help them excel in the role:

  • Recruiters should be detail-oriented to properly evaluate applicants’ qualifications, including any necessary credentials.

  • Proven ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.

  • Healthcare recruiters should also have strong multitasking and organizational skills. To do the job effectively, recruiters must be able to prioritize multiple responsibilities and keep track of multiple applicants

    Healthcare Recruiters are human resources practitioners who specialize in the recruitment facet of human resources. They specialize in the fulfillment of vacancies related to the healthcare and associated industries as contracted by the U.S. Government. This includes vacancies related to medical practitioners, doctors, nurses, radiological professionals, administrative and operations professionals. Healthcare Recruiters are responsible for posting job advertisements, screening applicants, interviewing candidates, setting interview schedules with hiring managers, and, in some cases, providing the job offer to qualified candidates. They should have a solid background in healthcare. They must be familiar with the skills, experiences, and levels of expertise needed for the different vacancies.

    Job summary:

    Vighter is seeking energetic and outgoingHealthcare recruiters to join our team. Recruiters are responsible for identifying and screening potential candidates for a multitude of healthcare, administrative and managerial roles for a variety of government contracts.

    Recruiters must be approachable and engaging, with an ability to sell both the organization and the required job or career path.

    Recruiters are accountable for sourcing and initial selection of interested candidates, ensuring the candidates meet the basic and preferred qualifications as outlined in the Job Description.

    Principle Accountabilities:

  • Source and attract candidates by using the internal Applicant Tracking System (ATS), databases, social media, and in person recruiting events and hiring fairs.

  • Screen candidate’s cover letters, resumes and job applications.

  • Conduct interviews using various reliable personnel selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule.

  • Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes.

  • Onboard new employees to become fully integrated.

  • Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices.

  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.

  • Promote company’s reputation as “best place to work.”

    Experience & Education:

  • One (1) year experience as a recruiter. Experience recruiting in healthcare or experience recruiting for government contracts is preferred.

  • Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency based, stress etc.).

  • Hands on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference checks, etc.).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong decision-making skills.

    Physical Requirements :

  • Must be able to sit for more than 8 hours per day.

  • Must be willing to work overtime if necessary.

  • Must be able to use an elevator or walk up and down stairs.

  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and carry up to 10 ft.

  • Must be able to routinely grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbows/knees and reach above and below shoulders.

  • Must be able to read and interpret handwritten and typewritten print.

  • Must be able to communicate by voice and detect sound by ear.

  • Must be able to perform duties in an indoor or outdoor environment.

  • Must be able to pass a criminal background investigation.

  • Must undergo urine drug testing
