Instant Data Technologies Procurement Specialist in San Antonio, Texas

Job Summary: This position performs duties related to the purchasing needs of Indatatech customers as assigned.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Manages assigned customer orders via their preferred online procurement portal on a daily basis.
  • Researches, evaluates and purchases services, supplies and equipment based on price, service, quality, delivery terms, warranty, etc as they need to meet the Terms and Conditions of the Customers contract.
  • Administers procurement documentation process and ensures compliance with internal and external requirements and regulations.
  • Researches, evaluates and purchases services, supplies and equipment based on price, service, quality, delivery terms, warranty, etc as they need to meet the Terms and Conditions of the Customers contract.
  • Participates in the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures.
  • Ensures compliance with company authorized usage of procurement card and on-line purchasing functions.
  • Requests and negotiates pricing for RFQs as needed.
  • Researches and provides information to appropriate parties to resolve questions or problems.
  • Provides reporting, updates and/or summaries of procurement operations and services as directed.
  • Communicates directly with a combination of customers and vendors in effort to provide timely and accurate service.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

  • Strong attention to detail skills needed in order to produce documents in a concise and timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1-5 of related experience.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be able to pass a Background Check and Drug Screen.
  • Must have at least basic computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in Quickbooks is preferred, but not required.
  • Experience with government contracts/ purchasing is a plus, but not required.
