Our client? is seeking a Network Engineer to join their team. As a Network Engineer, you will be part of the Operations Network Support team, contributing to critical infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Network Engineer

Location: San Antonio, TX

Position: Hybrid

Pay Range: Competitive salary based on experience

What's the Job?

• Responsible for operations network support including script development, device configuration management, and system administration.

• Monitor network engineering performance to ensure system availability and reliability.

• Configure and install various network devices and services such as routers, switches, and firewalls.

• Provide Level-2 support and troubleshooting to resolve moderately complex issues.

• Document and develop operational procedures while providing end-user support.

What's Needed?

• Demonstrated Associate level experience with Network Engineering.

• Experience with networking protocols including IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, and OSPF.

• Solid knowledge of OSI or TCP/IP models.

• Hands-on experience with monitoring and network diagnostic tools.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Computer Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
