ASRC Federal Holding Company Mechanical Engineer- Sign On Bonus! in SAN ANTONIO, Texas

ASRC Federal NetCentric Technology, LLC is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support ongoing activities on our KEOS contract at Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This position offers a Sign On Bonus!

Job Summary:

  • The Mechanical Engineer will support the sustainment of mission critical facilities and infrastructure at Kirtland AFB to ensure our customers’ continued mission success.

  • This position prepares design documentation to include, but not limited to: Statements of Work, Specifications, drawings, sketches, calculations and building code references.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform duties as Subject Matter Expert (SME) throughout the lifecycle of the project (existing condition investigation, design through construction completion).

  • These duties include evaluating and recommending approval of submittals; providing technical approach assessments; developing modification packages when necessary.

  • Utilize mathematical skills to perform calculations in support of HVAC and plumbing design work.

  • Prepare and coordinate the plans and schedules for new or existing work.

  • Formulate and recommend new or corrective action measures such as schedule revisions, manpower adjustments, fund allocations, and work requirements.


  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a program certified by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).

  • Be able to prepare and present presentations/briefings to the Air Force client.

  • Have or be able to obtain a Professional Mechanical Engineer License in one of the US states or territories within one year of hire date.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.

  • Must be able to pass a drug screen.

  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.

  • Must maintain a valid US driver's license.

  • Be committed to providing for and maintaining a safe working environment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Currently possess a Professional Mechanical Engineer License in one of the US states or territories

  • Experience working in a military environment.

  • Five years' experience in facility and infrastructure design.
