Job Title: Test Technician

Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for observing, monitoring, and reporting results of engine or vehicle tests using computer-controlled systems to measure engine lubricant, fuel, or engine performance. Responsibilities include following written and verbal instructions, calibrating test equipment to measure engine performance at specific intervals, maintaining log files of various test types in accordance with test procedures, preparing and labeling specimens as described in the test procedures/instructions, and performing routine maintenance on engines. Ear protection and lab coat will be provided.

Additional skills

Must have experience working with engines/calibrations or mechanical equipment.

The candidate needs knowledge of basic math functions, knowledge of automotive engines, fluids, and parts.

Ability to use and interpret engine manuals and lift 50lbs.

Experience with diagnostic tools is a plus

This is a fully on-site position in San Antonio, Texas.

Work Environment

Lab setting. Candidate will be monitoring engines and fluids.
