Data Science Developer

KBR is seeking a cleared Data Science Developer/Data Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in to join our team full-time.

In this role, you will...

  • Acts as a liaison between IT development groups and business units for developing and implementing new systems and enhancing current systems.

  • Apply data science principles and techniques to assist in handling and analyzing datasets to efficiently develop the answers to questions that are critical to customer success.

  • Evaluate new applications, system requirements, developments in the field of expertise, and evolving business needs to recommend appropriate solutions and alternatives.

  • Under general supervision and occasional direct supervision, performs assignments requiring experience and knowledge of standard concepts within their field.

  • Displays core job competencies by analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures while developing advanced skills.


Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required.

Clearance: Active/Current Secret Clearance

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Technical Field

Experience: Three to Five (3-5) years of experience in a Data Science Developer/Data Engineering role which includes...

  • Experience with CDSW (Cloudera Data Science Workbench)

  • Experience in Python

  • Experience using BI tools

    Highly Desired

  • Experience in Spark, Impala, Tableau, Qlik.
