Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. This role revolves around maintaining the financial health and integrity of our organization, where you will be actively involved in processing vendor invoices, reconciling accounts, and managing vendor relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the accurate and efficient processing of vendor invoices, adhering to established procedures and policies.

• Ensure the correctness of payments made to suppliers by verifying work products.

• Regularly report on Accounts Payable activities on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

• Conduct monthly reconciliations of vendor accounts, identifying any outstanding invoices and implementing corrective actions.

• Play an active role in implementing auto-AP software tools, documenting new processes and procedures.

• Assist in setting up new vendors and maintaining existing vendor records, including contact details, payment terms, and tax information.

• Review and verify employee expense reports to ensure compliance with travel and expense policies.

• Provide occasional support to shop managers and cell leads with payroll-related tasks.

• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.

• Utilize software tools like Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for data entry and invoice processing. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in account reconciliation is required.

• Solid understanding and hands-on experience in Accounts Payable (AP) processes.

• Ability to conduct check runs efficiently.

• Experience in coding invoices is a must.

• Proficient in data entry with high attention to detail.

• Experience in invoice processing is mandatory.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for accounting purposes.

• Knowledge of Oracle is required.

• Experience in QuickBooks for managing accounting tasks.

• Familiarity with SAP for financial management.
