River Crest Hospital is a modern, 80-bed psychiatric hospital, specializing in the treatment of mental health and substance use disorders that can afflict individuals of all ages, from children and teens, to adults and the elderly. We provide acute inpatient and outpatient psychiatric and addiction treatment programs. We are located in San Angelo, Texas. Position Summary:
Responsible for supplying direct patient care; for promoting and maintaining therapeutic unit milieu; for supplying clean environment; for attending to all safety measures; for personal growth and development in the therapeutic field of recreation activities.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation (CTRS) or Master’s degree in Music Therapy or Art Therapy required.
Experience: One (1) year experience in addictions/mental health treatment and/or recreation therapy is preferred.
Licensure/Certification: (CTRS), Art or Music therapy certifications)
Knowledge: Interact with all populations served; above average oral and written communication skills; knowledge of computers & office machines. Supervision Received: Director of Clinical Services
