Acosta Group Whirlpool Small Dealer Specialist - West/Northwest in Salt Lake City, Utah

DESCRIPTION

We are currently looking for an experienced and results-oriented Small Dealer Specialist to join our organization. The Small Dealer Specialist will grow margin, revenue, share and volume with Retail and Builder accounts in their assigned market for Independent Small Appliance Dealers. This is a fully remote position, and is responsible for calling on accounts within the Southwest Region: North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and drive a 'plan to sell' to grow margin, revenue, and share with Non-Exclusive Retail and accounts identified

  • Be a sales consultant to ensure the highest quality sales experience for our smaller Trade Customers

  • Store to store management of flooring and new product training

  • Driving efficiencies through cost to serve leadership while maintaining current customer base

  • Communicate buy-in and sell through activities

  • Identify accounts with opportunity for growth

  • Collaboration with broader Market Development Representative team and Region to grow identified business

  • Operational Support handling incoming Trade Customer Calls

  • Problem Solving related to all aspects of the business with a strong concentration on pricing, availability and delivery issues

  • Actively build trust with customers to become a true sales consultant and partner

  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • Analytical and negotiation skills

  • Communicator with impeccable interpersonal skills

  • Track record of sales success

  • Self-starter with the ability to develop and drive sales strategy

  • Meet and exceed revenue, profit, and volume goals

  • Willingness to embrace and drive change

  • Knowledge of appliance products and industry preferred

  • Work independently and in a team environment

  • Ability to take ownership of your market while developing weekly, monthly and yearly plans and goals

  • Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines

  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills

  • Excellent negotiation, persuasion and relationship building skills

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
