TEKsystems Vice President Of Revenue Cycle Management in Salt Lake City, Utah

Description:

The Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) oversees and optimizes the entire revenue cycle process, from patient registration and billing to collections and reimbursement. This role ensures the organization's financial health by implementing efficient processes, leveraging technology, and leading a high-performing team. The VP of RCM will work closely with other senior leaders to align revenue cycle strategies with the organization's overall goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Strategy:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive revenue cycle strategies to improve financial performance.

  • Lead and mentor the revenue cycle management team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align revenue cycle initiatives with organizational objectives.

Operational Management:

  • Oversee all aspects of the revenue cycle, including patient access, billing, coding, collections, and reimbursement.

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to address any issues.

Technology and Innovation:

  • Identify and implement technology solutions to enhance revenue cycle efficiency and accuracy.

  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices, incorporating innovative approaches to revenue cycle management.

Financial Oversight:

  • Develop and manage the revenue cycle budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.

  • Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and cost reduction.

  • Prepare and present regular reports on revenue cycle performance to the executive team.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including patients, providers, payers, and regulatory bodies.

  • Address and resolve any revenue cycle-related issues or concerns promptly and effectively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in revenue cycle management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

  • Minimum 2 years of Vice President (VP) Experience

  • Strong knowledge of healthcare billing, coding, and reimbursement processes.

  • Proven track record of improving revenue cycle performance and achieving financial targets.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in revenue cycle management software and other relevant technologies.

  • Experience in EMR//EHR Implementation

  • Payer Contract Negotiations

Travel: This position will require travel 25% a month, depending on the candidate's location.
