Title Traffic Control Plan Designer (Salt Lake City, UT)
Description Job Summary: Create temporary traffic control plans to allow for contractors to safely complete work while maintaining MUTCD and entity standards. * Design temporary traffic control plans using AutoCAD/RapidPlan (TTCP software) * Submit TTCP to contractors and entities for approval * Communicate with other departments and customers to maintain understanding of ongoing work via phone, email or in person * Perform other work-related duties as assigned Pay rate depends on your experience and skill level.
Position Requirements Education, Experience, and Skills Required: * Good technical skills and computer experience utilizing AutoCAD/RapidPlan programs are preferred * ATSSA Traffic Control Technician or Traffic Control Supervisor Certification or experience is a huge plus. * Knowledge of MUTCD standards and local government traffic control requirements is preferred * Good written and verbal communication skills, can follow instructions as given and has the ability to work independently or as a team member is required. * Excellent organizational skills, the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines are required. * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (outlook, excel, and word) are required.
