General Purpose
As part of the BHE Business Transformation program, we are improving ways of working by standardizing business processes, creating universal visibility, standardizing master data integrity, while providing data driven reporting, analysis and decision making. This is being achieved by implementing a series of world-class enterprise Asset, Customer, Financial, Operations and Work Management software. We are actively designing our customized programs and training plans which will develop innovative techniques to improve the safety of each employee group and the quality of work each employee group performs with the goal of creating additional work efficiencies.
This role will lead and coordinate efforts in the establishment and implementation of business objectives, strategies, and plans. Implements and supports company programs and policies. Develops innovative techniques to improve business processes, obtains buy-in from, and clearly communicates impacts to, key stakeholders.
Responsibilities
• Manage delivery of capital and maintenance work plans. • Clearly and effectively convey complex ideas to team members at every level. • Coordinate work efforts between internal teams and external partners to implement strategic business objectives, strategies and plans in support of the Companies strategic goals. • Support key stakeholders to understand requirements, develop project and program implementation plans, and deliver upon key project and program milestones for assigned programs or projects. • Identify and implement improved workflows and systems that increase the ability to safely and efficiently perform operations job functions. • Develop a culture of continuous improvement with contractors and internal staff to assess the strengths and weaknesses of assigned programs and identify areas for improvement. • Adapt strategy to changing conditions by overcoming resistance and supporting those affected by change, ensuring employees are engaged and supported through transition. • Monitor the cost/benefit of new programs or changes to existing programs, maintaining relevant measure performance assumptions, and making necessary measure assumption changes due to program evaluation information, changing market conditions and/or advancing codes and standards • Identify and evaluate the risks associated with program activities and take appropriate action to control the risks. • Provide available support to districts where efficiencies can be gained through central organization. • Conduct performance reporting, including goal monitoring. • Monitor program activities on a regular basis and actively participate in evaluations. • Create necessary policies, project plans, decision documents or procedures to support implementation of assigned programs or projects. • Ensure that program activities operate within the policies and procedures including all relevant commission regulations and professional standards. • Develop and support presentations and external engagements with customer or regulators as needed for assigned programs and projects. • Ensure assigned programs are planned, completed, and delivered consistent with the unique protocol established by each state commission, including proper cost tracking and allocation. • Develop, manage, and compile data and/or narratives pertinent to assigned projects or programs to support both internal and external reporting requirements. • Support regulatory filings or external reques ts pertaining to assigned projects or programs, including coordination of data responses supporting programs as needed.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Management, Electrical or M chanical Engineering or a related field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. • A minimum of five to seven years professional experience with utility operations or other regulated environment, energy related operations management, project engineering, project management, and/or program management. • Leadership and teamwork skills to provide input into policy decisions and to mobilize resources to produce desired business results. • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills to interface with team members and customers to promote positive customer outcomes. • Advanced Oral and written communication skills to communicate objectives and action plans. • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, set goals, and develop systems for achieving those goals. • Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities simultaneously, stay focused on deadlines, and handle complex work efforts efficiently. • Ability to work with all organizational levels to influence actions and negotiate outcomes • Ability to listen and communicate effectively through oral and written means.

• MBA
• Program Management Professional (PMP) and/or Program Management Professional (PgMP)
• Knowledge of Program Management • Knowledge of IT project lifecycles • Knowledge of electrical system construction, operation, and maintenance practices.
