MORTENSON CONSTRUCTION Senior Estimator II in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah
M. A. Mortenson Company seeks a full-time Senior Estimator II located in Salt Lake City, UT. The Senior Estimator II leads the efforts of gathering, calculating, and compiling data to produce project estimates for complex construction projects. This position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field and five (5) years related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience working in an estimating position in the construction industry. Must also have 24 months of experience with each of the following: (1) working with procurement of trades worth more than $300 million, contract document preparations, scope checklist, and state and federal regulations compliance for construction projects; (2) completing quantitative analysis, presentations, bid reviews, value engineering, market risk reviews, subcontractor interviews, and award negotiations for construction projects; (3) performing cost modeling, value analysis, and target value delivery, including providing system area quantity survey and cost history, utilizing Eos Cortex, to price cost model and establish target budgets; (4) identifying and mitigating risk to construction project budget and margin; and (5) working with pre-construction software including: On-Screen Takeoff, Autodesk Assemble, Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera, and MS Office.
