Job Description

Location: Anywhere in continental US (preference for areas where Eide Bailly has business development support)

Work Arrangement:Remote

Typical Day in the Life A typical day as a Sales Development Representative (tax-focused) might include: * Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and networking events. * Prospecting: Reach out to potential clients to introduce our services, understand their needs, and qualify them as potential leads. * Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospects to qualify them for the sales funnel. * Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings and appointments for the sales team with qualified leads. * Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of our firm's services, with a special emphasis on our federal and specialty tax services, and be able to effectively communicate the value propositions to potential clients. * CRM Management: Accurately record and manage all lead and prospect interactions in the CRM system, ensuring up-to-date and organized records. * Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market conditions to identify new opportunities. * Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team and tax leaders to develop and execute targeted outreach strategies and campaigns. * Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation, qualified leads, and appointments set.

Who You Are * Must have 3+ years of experience in a sales development focused in tax consulting or similar professional services firm * Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships. * Highly self-motivated and results-driven, with a strong work ethic and a passion for sales. * Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, MS Dynamics) and other sales tools. Familiarity with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities. * Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Compensation: Base salary $70,000 - $90,000 + competitive commission structure Our compensation philosophy emphasizes competitive and equitable pay. Eide Bailly complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying ranges. Final compensation decisions are dependent upon factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and internal equity.
