Post-doctoral research position, University of UtahThe Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery is actively recruiting an individual to join our research labs at the University of Utah School of Medicine. Post-doctoral fellows would be part of a NIH T32 training grant within the Cardiovascular Research Training Institute to study the pathophysiology and treatment of cardiovascular disease. This competitive position seeks applicants that are on a path for academic careers. Eligible candidates include those in ACGME residency programs seeking additional training in translational science. Preference will be given to categorical general surgical residents or integrated cardiothoracic surgery residents interested in seeking an academic career in cardiothoracic surgery. NIH requires that T32 trainees be U.S. citizens, U.S. noncitizen national, or a permanent resident of the U.S. A number of additional criteria are inherently a part of the T32 program and will be further discussed if deemed a potential candidate.Interested applicants should contact Craig H.
