What you will do

As a Quality Assurance Technician I, you will be responsible for providing expert quality support to operations, ensuring that plant operational goals and objectives are achieved while modeling and maintaining the highest level of quality and safety. As well as the following below:

  • Represent Quality Assurance as the first point of contact for daily line support issues.

  • Troubleshoot product and process-related issues and identify root causes.

  • Work with Quality Engineers and product teams to identify areas for risk reduction and error-proofing processes and support solution implementation.

  • Drive defect awareness training with production associates with the assistance of the manufacturing core team.

  • Provide input into the disposition for any non-conforming product and identify appropriate corrections and corrective actions with other support team members.

  • Perform internal quality audit readiness checks and assist in the preparation of reports/reviews.

  • Responsible for the timely analysis of customer complaints.

  • Review electronically saved calibration certificates/reports and perform basic microbiology sampling/testing.

What you need

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associates or Bachelor's degree a plus

  • 2+ years of relevant experience required; experience with quality inspection in a manufacturing/production environment preferred

  • Knowledge of GMP-regulated environment preferred
