University of Utah PS Nurse Practitioner in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah
The Division of Nephrology and Hypertension at the University of Utah School of Medicine is seeking an advanced practice clinician (NP/PA) to function as a member of the general nephrology and ESRD team. The team member would be responsible for delivering nephrology care to patients in an inpatient setting as a consulting provider. The position involves inpatient care for patients at main campus of the University of Utah Hospital. The provider will be responsible for covering inpatient nephrology at the above location for 2080 hours annually. The APC will be expected to participate in the clinical education of APC students while on service. The APC will assist the medical director with the development of a point of care ultrasound program.Our Nephrology APCs are valued members of our team and work independently as well as collaboratively with the physicians. The faculty physicians will act as mentors as the APC transitions into this nephrology practice. There will be ongoing education opportunities with weekly conferences and didactics specifically geared towards nephrology.
