Job Summary:The Division of Medical Genetics with the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Utah is seeking a full-time Temporary Licensed Genetic Counselor to provide comprehensive genetic counseling services for genetic conditions. This position Identifies, investigates, interprets, and communicates potential risk factors and provides support and counseling to families and patients by referring them to relevant support services under the supervision of a Licensed Genetic Counselor. A temporary Genetic Counseling License is required for this position and is only good for 18 months, after which time the candidate must have a full Genetic Counseling License.
