The Utah Smart Energy Laboratory at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering ( ECE ) at the University of Utah has an immediate opening for a Postdoctoral Research Associate on 1) developing solutions for integrating energy storage and distributed energy resources for enhancing the resilience of power distribution systems, 2) developing cyber security solutions for power distribution systems. The ideal candidate would have expertise in the application of machine learning methods, control theory, and mathematical optimization in power distribution systems operation.
The position comes with a benefits package and salary commensurate with experience.
Exceptional candidates would be considered for subsequent appointment as Research Assistant Professor in the ECE Department.
