The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the University of Utah invites applications for an immediate postdoctoral position in Dr. Paul S. Bernsteins laboratory. The research focuses on the molecular and biochemical mechanisms of very long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids (VLC-PUFAs) in the pathogenesis of retinal diseases such as Stargardt disease and age-related macular degeneration (AMD). The successful candidate will be involved in designing and conducting research projects and will receive advanced training to further develop professional skills and research independence for a successful career.
