BREX, INC. Portfolio Management Lead - Job Code ME74 in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah

 

Administer credit portfolios, featuring tailored underwriting models equipped to fit a specific industry or client segment. Evaluate and present key portfolio metrics and trends to upper management in alignment with company goals. Design and propose portfolio-wide processes and initiatives. Assist in the development and implementation of new or improved credit policies and underwriting models. Launch new credit products in collaboration with different cross-functional partners. Investigate and report delinquency trends, monitor and report SLAs (service-level agreements), perform QA, and complete external audits. Review and work on technical audits and process improvements. Work hand in hand with Engineering teams to address specific tooling problems and design and implement long-term process improvements. Perform portfolio monitoring, including supervising client financial health and adherence to Brex's credit policies. Design and maintain monitoring tools to assess client health, such as determining client fit during onboarding process, performing daily reviews to take preventive measures against clients whose financial health has deteriorated or who may be at risk of default, addressing customer concerns regarding credit limits and Brex policies, and collecting and reviewing complex financial data. Assist in the training of new hires on Brex's credit-related technologies, processes, policies, and goals. Participate in ad-hoc training sessions with cross-functional teams in an effort to align credit knowledge across the organization.

Minimum Requirements:

 

Education:  Bachelor's degree in business, finance, management, or a related field.

 

Experience: Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a portfolio management-related occupation.

 

Skills: Minimum one (1) year of experience required in each of the following skills: financial analysis; credit card origination and underwriting; credit risk assessment; financial modeling; portfolio management and underwriting software, including Hex, SQL, or Looker; risk management; regulatory compliance; asset valuation; and data analytics.
