Our partner specializes in chemical and ingredient distribution, offering services to customers across various industries, including paints, coatings, and lubricating fluids. They are looking for a Lab Ops Coordinator to maintain efficiency and provide support throughout their laboratory processes.

Schedule : Day shift

Contract Opportunity

Pay Rate: $24/hr-$25/hr

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support across department

• Handle word processing, filing, faxing, answering phones, greeting and assisting visitors

• Calibrate, maintain, and repair lab equipment according to manufacturer's guidelines

• Perform routine laboratory tasks such as maintaining equipment and prepare lab materials

• Schedule appointments and maintain financial records

• Organize meetings and conferences

• Obtain supplies and distribute mail

• Manage special projects as needed

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience required

• Strong organization and communication, supporting processes from an administrative role

• Familiar maintaining and following safety procedures.

• Knowledge of standard laboratory techniques and safety procedures.

• Knowledge concepts, measurements and terminology in the life sciences industry.

• Proficiency in MS Office.
