The Director of Operations leads the Museum Store, Events, and Facilities units of the Natural History Museum of Utah; coordinates contracts and serves as liaison for the Museum Caf, security, and custodial services; works collaboratively with other departments to create and implement Museum-wide strategies for maximizing the quality of visitor experience; contributes to and grows the Museums earned revenue enterprise; manages a departmental budget of personnel and non-personnel expenses; participates in the development of long-range facility and grounds strategies for the Museum, and serves as project manager for facilities-related initiatives.
