Job Overview

Safety: Cultivate a collaborative Zero Harm culture that maintains an injury-free workplace that is healthy and environmentally conscious. Finance: Financially responsible for parts ordering and on time delivery leveraging the collective input from customers, replenishment lead time, equipment install base and location, and stocking facilities (branches or distribution centers). This includes a master parts plan, selling parts through our Inside Sales (CSR's), and inventory accuracy. Identify opportunities to reduce vendor costs and increase value for the business. Manage the costs and budgeting for the warehouse cost centers. Customer: Administer active customer input through the Inside Sales (CSR) team with our known stocking experience to determine the best regional stocking strategy, the stocking plan must be visible and transparent to show value for the customer, provide timely feedback to customers regarding orders, expediting to ensure OTD Strategy: Critical role of balancing the stocking requirements for the customer and the inventory turnover requirements for the business. Active involvement with Component Exchange Program (CEP), Component Tracking System (CTS), Recommended Spare Parts Lists (RSPL) and analyzing the actual usage, and machine part requirement experience. Objective is >95% OTD leveraging all the planning and stocking resources in the US. Optimize the freight to reduce expense. Leadership / Development: Collaborative Leadership style to enhance the Komatsu Way culture. Drive operational improvement in regional inventory planning by supporting the implementation of regional SIOP processes. Technical: Drive Operational Excellence and work in conjunction with the rest of the facilities in the US and Canada. Participate in the North American initiatives to standardize, document and drive improvements at all locations. Working knowledge of our SAP/CDK enterprise system, Salesforce/CTS and planning systems at the Distribution Centers. Facilitate timely inventory audits and cycle counting to assure accuracy.
