Nexeo Staffing Mammography Technologist at IHC in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah
We are seeking skilled Mammography Technologists to join our team at our Murray,UT location. This role is essential in performing mammographic procedures that produce high-quality diagnostic images crucial for detecting breast abnormalities. The ideal candidate will be adept at operating mammographic equipment,ensuring patient safety,and maintaining detailed records.
*Responsibilities *
Conduct radiographic mammography procedures to generate diagnostic images.
Confirm patient identity and verify medical orders; prepare patients for their exams.
Execute mammography exams following department protocols,including advanced procedures such as stereotactic biopsies,clip placements,and drainages.
Demonstrate proficiency in patient positioning to achieve optimal imaging results.
Educate patients on breast self-examinations,answering questions,and providing informational materials.
Skillfully operate mammography equipment to produce high-quality images.
Implement proper radiation safety measures for both patients and staff,adhering to ALARA principles.
Stay informed about new techniques and equipment to maintain high competency.
Maintain compliance with JCAHO and Utah State Bureau of Radiation Control record-keeping requirements.
Accurately complete all required documentation,including time-stamping and image storage.
Qualifications
ARRT registration.
Valid Radiologic Technologist license in Utah.
Compliance with ACR & FDA/MQSA standards for mammography.
ARRT Advanced Mammography Certification.
Current BLS certification for healthcare providers.
Associate s Degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
*Pay *
$57.00 - $67.00 Per Hour
*Schedule *
10-hour shifts,4 days per week
Rotating days,no fixed schedule
