Zions Bank Corporate Banking has just opened an opportunity for a Loan Specialist in our downtown Salt Lake City office. If you’re ready for the next rung on your career ladder, this may be your opportunity.

Ideal candidates will have the skills and experience to:

  • Provide administrative and/or operational support within one or more of the following areas:

  • Processing

  • Closing

  • Servicing

  • Documentation

  • Disbursements

  • Collateral Tracking

  • Calendar Scheduling

  • Expense Reporting

  • Supplies Ordering

  • May clear all identified loan exceptions.

  • Maintain files, documents, notes, etc.

  • Responsible for verifying completeness of files with all necessary documents and signatures required.

  • Research and resolve lending inquires and issues.

  • May prepare and/or track disbursements, loan documents, reports, obtain credit and/or financial information.

  • Produce reports as required.

  • Answer questions and follow up with clients.

  • Remain flexible and help with other duties and functions when needed.

    What you need to bring to the table :

  • Requires High School diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of previous banking or loan process, documentation, or loan assistant experience or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may job requirements.

  • Proficient knowledge of lending processes, loan principles, documentation and loan systems.

  • Knowledge of banking process and procedures helpful.

  • Must have strong organizational and customer service skills.

  • Must possess numeric and verbal aptitudes.

  • Strong research, audit and communications skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to complete processes and meet deadlines.

  • Proficient knowledge of computer program i.e. MS Office Suite
