You will be the cornerstone of the home loan process for those coming to Neighbors Bank to realize their dream of homeownership. No mortgage experience is required for this fully remote sales role.

Role Details:

While the income potential is significant, this role is challenging with a steep learning curve. The majority of team members in the Loan Officer role earn between $70,000 and $90,000 annually, with top performers exceeding $100,000.

For the first 4 months, you'll start as a Homebuying Specialist with a focus on loan origination. During this period, you will receive hands-on experience in the mortgage industry and further develop your sales talents, while working with prospective customers at the earlier stages of the loan process. As a Homebuying Specialist, you'll earn $20/hour and be eligible to earn performance-based bonuses. Upon meeting our specific performance goals in the expected timeline, you'll be eligible for promotion to the Loan Officer role, which comes with an annual base salary of $60,000 plus uncapped performance-based bonuses. Additionally, those promoted will also receive a one-time bonus of $5,500.

As a Loan Officer you will learn the mortgage process and understand loan products to play a vital role in fulfilling Neighbors Bank's mission of Enhancing Lives through helping clients into homes. This inside sales role involves contacting clients who have reached out to us, so no cold calling is required.

We are currently hiring in the following states: AZ, AR, FL, ID, IA, KS, KY, MS, MO, MT, OK, SC, TX, UT, VA.

Job Duties will vary upon assignment but may include:

• Communicate loan status regularly with clients, responding promptly to inquiries and concerns via email and phone.
• Analyze borrower information to determine feasibility of pre-approving and obtaining a loan.
• Manage internal efforts to ensure a timely process and resolve application issues.
• Interview borrowers and obtain and/or verify information and documentation.
• Educate borrowers on the loan process and product/service alternatives.
• Remain knowledgeable on company and industry guidelines and processes.
• Analyze and manage numbers to increase and ensure efficiencies and meet company goals.
• Maintain a social media presence.
• Call leads and take call-ins.
• Structure loans and compile loan packages.
• Actively contribute to making the team and culture stronger by assisting with other duties as needed.
