University of Utah Lab Technician in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah
The Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences has an opportunity for a Lab Technician. Research in Radiology advances medical imaging technologies and therapies that range from modeling and image processing algorithms to new clinical applications.The Lab Technician is a specialized laboratory professional working with the Radiology and Imaging Sciences Investigators and other Department research personnel. The Lab Technician plays a critical role in the conduct of the studies they support. The position is dynamic in that it involves working with multiple investigators and projects. The incumbent is responsible for key laboratory functions involving animals, performs minor surgeries, collects specimens and completes tasks and testing in accordance with good laboratory practices.
