University of Utah Lab Assistant in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah

1) The employee-trainee will receive training in the safe handling of human biospecimens. The employee will perform extractions of blood plasma and dried blood specimens following protocols approved by the HCI and UIUC Institutional Biosafety Committee and Institutional Review Boards (IRB). Samples will include those from animal studies, commercial vendors, and clinical biospecimens from the University of Utah transferred to UIUC under ongoing research grants.
