Robert Half Management Resources is recruiting for an Interim Assistant Controller to support our manufacturing client on a 3+ month onsite engagement in Salt Lake City. In this role, you will utilize your strategic thinking, analytical skills, and expertise in accounting operations. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize advanced Excel skills to perform various accounting functions

• Conduct complex financial reconciliations and report on findings

• Manage the reconciliation process and maintain data integrity

• Assist with cost center reporting to ensure accurate financial information

• Coordinate the clean-up and entry of Master Data into the SyteLine system

• Test the SyteLine system to ensure optimal functioning

• Develop and prepare financial reports to improve business decision making

• Perform auditing tasks and maintain accurate customer credit records

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary

Requirements

• Proficiency in Crystal Reports is a plus.

• Proven auditing experience.

• Experience with supporting an ERP implementation is a huge plus.

• Familiar with SyteLine and Syteline ERP or comparable software (Oracle or NetSuite) is preferred

• Experience in account reconciliation is necessary.

• Knowledge of balance sheet account reconciliation is a must.

• Should be skilled in balance sheet reconciliation.

• Proficiency in bank account reconciliation

• Capable of conducting financial reconciliation.

• Proficiency in Excel formulas is required.

• Must be adept in using Microsoft Excel.

• Experience in master data management is necessary.

• Must be adept in data integrity testing.

• Proven experience in financial reporting.

• Experience in the manufacturing sector is a plus.

• Knowledge of journal entries is required.
