State of Utah - Jobs Installer (Office Furniture) in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah

The Utah Department of Workforce Services (DWS) is looking for a skilled and motivated individual to fill an Installer (Office Furniture) position within the Administrative Services Division (ASD). Principle Duties This is a working level job performing a variety of support services such as:

  • Physical construction of cubicles agency wide. 
  • Load,transport,and unload equipment for relocation. 
  • Maintain warehouse inventory of cubicle and office furniture. 
  • Coordinate maintenance for a fleet of 10 or more vehicles. 
  • Submit requisition for surplus property and follow policy to prepare property for disposal,distribution or donation. 
  • Assist in the coordination of supportive service functions such as mail processing,equipment relocation,and vendor support for the agency administration building. 

The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate for this position is someone who has:

  • Knowledge of cubicle construction. 
  • Knowledge of warehouse inventory and management. 
  • Experience with motor pool and fleet rules. 
  • The ability to lift 50 pounds. 
  • Driving an automobile with a trailer in tow and box truck up to 26' in length.
