Initiation Systems and Packaged Explosives Supply Planner, Dyno Nobel Inc., Salt Lake City, UT:
Plans and manages demand forecast to supply process to ensure the business meets agreed customer targets at minimal operating cost and optimum stock levels. Responsible for the Initiation Systems master production and long-term scheduling, which is developed through plans based on demand, customer forecasts, raw material availability, production capabilities and network storage to ensure on time and in full deliveries to our customers. Responsible for SAP data management as it relates to Initiation Systems production scheduling and the components related to those specific systems. Daily management of MPS (Master Production Scheduling) to ensure customer demand is met by reviewing material availability, production capacities, while maintaining manufacturing efficiencies. Responsible to gather, manipulate and analyze data to make data driven decisions that yield the best possible business outcome. Analyze data relating to product forecasting, asset management and shipment forecasting. Create monthly Rough Cut Capacity Plans (RCCP) as a part of the IBP cycle. Work in partnership with manufacturing teams to ensure RCCP data is to plan. Assist Manufacturing, Distribution and Procurement in implementing resupply planning best practices in conjunction with the Inventory Planner.
Full time employment, Monday -- Friday, 40 hours per week.
Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain/Production Planning, Business or related degree and 5 years of progressive post- bachelor's experience in Production Planning and Supply Chain in the explosives industry. Must have 5 years of experience in the following:
- Integrated Business Planning, Sales & Operations Planning, Supply Planning (specifically Master Production Scheduling), and Inventory Management;
- Analyzing data relating to product forecasting, asset management and shipment forecasting;
- Researching techniques required to source a variety of materials;
- SAP or other ERP related planning suite, and Integrated Business Planning tool; and
- Microsoft Excel, including Gantt reports for planning projects and recovery plans, statistical analysis for consumption, designing and maintaining master plan schedules, developing and maintaining MRP to determine stock levels based on capacity of both raw materials and finished goods. &nb sp;
Must have 2 years of experience in Manufacturing processes and creating monthly Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) as part of the IBP cycle and sync charts.
International travel required up to 5%; Domestic travel required up to 20%.
